Many post-secondary institutions have a space dedicated to providing ed-tech and pedagogical support for faculty. Sometimes that space is an empty chair in the office of the “LMS guy”, but if it’s a dedicated lab, you can bet someone is going to give it a name. Learning Support Centers in Higher Education has collected over 260 different names for these centers from institutions across the U.S., UK, Australia, and Canada.
